Once again reaffirming why T deserves to be a core portfolio security.

This is the big news from T? As sprint attempts to potentially buy T-mobile. I guess that 4 BILLION t-mobile got from the great Randall Stephenson has benefited some non-T shareholders. Good news, reliable news, core portfolio?
This is a DOG of the Dow, the only great news would be if some activist shareholders holding court to dump the current board, fire stephenson and all his fellow high priced bellhops. One can only hope it will be soon. That is the news T shareholders are waiting for.

I'm curious about this comment. Outside of a basic vent, exactly why should T's board be replaced?

As far as I see it, T's Project VIP sets the entire enterprise on an excellent course for the future.

Also, I don't think it was wholly T's fault for the government telling T they couldn't buy another carrier.

So yes, a core portfolio security.

Let the good times roll (or at least creep). Boring can be good.

I love the yield, just wish we could see a few increases that are meaningfully above inflation.
