Northern Dynasty +11.6% as it takes full interest in Pebble, Anglo exits

Northern Dynasty Minerals (NAK +11.6%) exercises its right to acquire 100% of Anglo American's (AAUKF, AAUKY) interest in the Pebble copper/gold/molybdenum project in Alaska.

NAK, which has partnered with Anglo for six years, will now go it alone and have the full benefit of the cash spent on the project - $556M so far, NAK says.

NAK says a final decision on permit filing for the controversial project would be made in 2014.

However, the people of Alaska (Bristol Bay) are fighting against the mine to to the location. It is right at the same location at the World's largest natural Salmon Resource in the WORLD ! One accident and the salmon could be wide out ! The state is starting to listen to the people and I really do not see this mind getting permitted at all.

Yes, it owns 100% now, but NAK is not a mining processing company, it will still need a partner who is willing to do the work. It is like owing a Aircraft and not know how to fly it !

I do believe that at the end....MONEY TAKS and BS WALKS because
of the amount of gold, silver and rare metals at the location. Tje state does not want to loose out either. Thay will all find a way to satisfay all involved and NAK will come to fruition. Yours truly, Al Vazquez
