American Airlines makes first post-merger bond issuance

American Airlines (AAL +2.9%sells its first bond issuance as a post-merger company, a $256M 2017 offering secured by 75 Boeing airplanes.

The issuance is expected to receive a B+ rating from Standard & Poor's and Fitch.
