E-commerce retailers and shippers: Let it snow!

Analysts don't expect the fierce winter snowstorm that struck a wide swath of the Northeast and Midwest to significantly impact overall holiday sales, although a pickup in e-commerce channels could be seen. The trend sets up well for Amazon (AMZN), eBay (EBAY), FedEx (FDX), and UPS (UPS).

Retailers focused on winter gear and machinery such as Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS), Tractor Supply (TSCO), Home Depot (HD), and Lowe's (LOW) could also see some extra snow-related sales, note analysts.

PFSW which has made a huge move and pulled back to round number has found support basing for next move up on internet shipping for major retailers. Recently adding U.S.Mint a major player whom they previously serviced years ago.

Only problem is that the delivery companies (UPS, FDX) have huge disruptions with these storms. Another storm expected to hit northeast tomorrow, and a few more of them could cause severe package delays.

lets tell it like it is PFSW does not own any sku! PFSW is a fulfillment center worldwide with primarily European and U.S. high end though they do ship high volume too. So its not weather related per say. PFSW more dependent on success of companies its marketing on internet and demand. Instant gratification at your door. As the orders are shipped arrival date being delayed by weather does not cancel order though there maybe a chargeback on shipper which is not PFSW.
