Summer Street defends Rockwell Medical after negative Brean note

Summer Street is out in defense of Rockwell Medical (RMTI -19.8%) amid a sell-off triggered (apparently) by comments out of Brean's Jonathan Aschoff.

"Buy the weakness," Summer Street's Carol Werther says, adding that "Triferic did reduce ESA use by 74% in hypo-responders, 8.5% from baseline."

Werther continues: "The pivotal CRUISE design was put together with [the] FDA, achieved the primary endpoint on efficacy, [and] was statistically significant in both trials."

"The analyst who initiated on RMTI did not even speak to [the company] prior to putting out his negative research report," Werther says, incredulous.

Thank you Carol Werther. It's nice to see someone who gives a damn about analyst shorting stocks by ripping them apart with totally bogus accusations, evidently. It's hard to believe someone would expose themselves to slander charges let alone Mail Fraud and on and on. But consider how masses of investors take their garbage as gospel without bothering to research the stock themselves.

I see this going on every day, thousands of times. The worst offenders are usually the banks and our Federal government! Remember the Basil declaration that "Gold will now be rated at full credit for Bank collateral instead of half?" Did you buy gold? I sure did, then it promptly lost several hundred dollars an ounce! This allowed the Chinese to purchase gigantic gold shares and leverage their carnivorous politics into dozens of African and other countries. No telling how much it changed World power structure!

I guess people are too terrified to say anything. I am disgusted, an invalid and have little left to lose. I am also very ashamed of my sick country.

Thanks, Ms. Werther, for taking time to show the other side of an important issue. Investor's Business Daily is a respected financial paper, and apparently agrees with you. It has Rockwell rated a 99, the highest rating they have for a stock.

Thanks Jonathan Aschoff for your panic-selling-causing story. You created a great entry level into RMTI! Should be a great week!
