In-flight calls: Who's for and who's against

Delta Air Lines (DAL -0.7%) won't allow cell phone calls during its flights after polling from frequent fliers indicated they thought the practice would be disruptive.

Southwest Airlines (LUV +1%) and Virgin America have already stated that they are almost certain not to allow in-flight calls, but JetBlue (JBLU +0.2%) appears to be leaning in the other direction.

On the regulator front, the FCC supports a proposal which would allow in-flight voice calls while the DOT has tipped if it's leaning in the other direction.
