A Super Bowl blizzard could disrupt advertisers' big day

If a blizzard strikes New Jersey on the Super Bowl date of February 2, 2014 the NFL will re-schedule the game, according to league officials.

Though the odds are remote that a storm of that magnitude will hit the region square in the face on that date, it could be a concern for Fox Sports (FOXA).

There's conflicting reports on the impact on ad rates or make-goods if the game gets pushed to a weekday. Companies like SodaStream (SODA) or Kia Motors (KIMTF) that are hoping to make a big splash with their ads will hope for a Sunday game.
