Airgas to increase helium prices by 20%

Airgas (ARG -0.4%) will increase prices on helium by 20% on average, effective immediately or as contracts permit.

The hike comes in response to rising crude helium prices charged by the BLM to helium refiners (which have steadily moved upwards since 1997). That, in turn, drives up pure helium prices.
