Apache tabbed as Top Pick for 2014 at Clarkson Capital

  • Apache (APA) is named as the Top Pick for 2014 at Clarkson Capital, which believes APA's new China partner might be more than a one-off for the company, and its liquefied natural gas partnership with Chevron might prove valuable.
  • The firm, which has set a $110 price target for the shares, sees APA's February analyst day as a potential catalyst-rich event.

Who.....Clarkson Capitol....LOL, sounds like another 4th tier lightweight firm. It seems anyone can now throw out research.

(APA) has been flat for 2.5 years. Hope it turns around this year. S&P rates it a 5-star (highest) Strong Buy; FirstCall rates it a Buy; and Reuters is positive (9 out of 10) on the stock. Wish I was just buying it now, rather than holding dead money for so long. Long APA.
