South Sudan, rebels to hold ceasefire talks after delay

|By:, SA News Editor

South Sudan's government and rebel forces are due to hold delayed talks today in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa about implementing a ceasefire to end three weeks of fighting. Negotiations were supposed to begin on New Year's Day

The fighting has left over 1,000 people dead, displaced around 200,000 and caused a cut in oil output in South Sudan, which has the third-largest reserves in sub-Saharan Africa. (Previous)
