magicJack rallies strongly following Canaccord launch

magicJack (CALL +6.7%) managed to hit levels last seen in October after Canaccord started coverage with a Buy and $17 PT.

Shares jumped in November after the company posted Q3 results and cut all ties with controversial founder Daniel Borislow.

5.5M shares (a full 52% of the float) were shorted as of Dec. 13; that was the highest level recorded in all of 2013.

With some intelligent leadership to replace what can only be described as wacky leadership, this company could acheive far greater success. If you're not sure what wacky leadership means just look at their website, which has barely been updated in years, and their android app, which is missing several simple to add features which would make it vastly more useful (for example integrating android contacts), yet it includes a useless, ridiculous "stock" button. Does anybody at this company have a clue? What's your excuse?

Totally agree. But maybe management is reading your comments ;-)

Thanks Dustin - I can't login from this computer but I'm hoping the site you pointed to is correct and call forwarding is back. Service was infinitely more useful to me when this feature worked two years ago!
