Wal-Mart to test meat products in China

Chinese regulator Shandong Food and Drug Adminstration tells Wal-Mart (WMT) it needs to establish a DNA system to test the food products it sells in the nation.

The company will also have to compensate consumers that purchased tainted meat from it.

Food safety is a major focus in China right now with rules tightening for local producers and global sellers.
