TSMC (TSM +1.7%) has reportedly booked nearly all of its capacity for making chips using advanced manufacturing processes, thanks to rising demand from AMD, BRCM, NVDA, QCOM, and others. Needham recently suggested the equipment needs of chip foundries would bolster Lam Research (LRCX), while KLA-Tencor (KLAC) has said demand for cutting-edge mobile chips is boosting foundry equipment orders.
