  • good news , i see , everytime i do some research, how Hess, is indeed growing this way. IF not too pricy in the beginning stage's into this IPO ,I shall buy a small trial lot. Spin off's in my view , especially from these type of larger, well established companies, have mostly fared well.

  • Daniel, I used to frequest Sheetz in PA, I was friends with the owner's son. What point were you trying to make about the Sheetz vs. Hess?

  • yes , exactly my point , Hess will be one like that in my view, starting with their toy trucks and small clothing line.I,m not saying it will be blazing success , but i hope it will . But just because they have been around so long and a classic american employer , I think this will be supported by many americans and other "oil company) investors.

  • I believe she was trying to tell me that "Sheetz" , also a spin off from an oil company) has done and is doing very well at this time mostly into the restaurant biz. Not sure what exactly Hess will be doing , but they stated "retail" so I,m thinking a small retail "in store" much like cracker barrel.?
