Green Dot rebounds slightly, BTIG calls $0 GPR offering old news

After being down as much as 5.4%, shares of Green Dot (GDOT -3.9%) are slightly recovering, potentially helped by a defense of the name by BTIG in response to negative commentary by Janney earlier.

BTIG's Mark Palmer (who has a Buy rating and PT of $31 on GDOT) says Green Dot's GPR offering at a $0 price point at Rite Aid is old news, citing comments by CEO Steve Streit back in June.
