Why is the headline number non-GAAP EPS and not GAAP ?
    Non-GAAP means no GAA Principles.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... Thats a long folks. The miss is miniscule. The Revenue beats. The company has paid its share of problem to the SEC. SO now here we have a clean Slate to work with. The Economic recovery is propelling this company right along with it. The low alumina prices will be an advantage for more usage, and hence create larger volumes for Alcoa to profit from. Lets watch for the employment number tomorrow to prove the thesis of the recovering American economy. And hence the need for High Quality Alumina that Alcoa produces quiet awesomely.
