Natural Resource Partners issues below-consensus 2014 guidance

Natural Resource Partners (NRP) -9.4% AH after reaffirming 2013 guidance and revealing 2014 guidance that falls below analyst expectations.

NRP anticipates 2013 results well within previous guidance of $330M-$360M in revenue vs. $347M analyst consensus and $1.40-$1.60 per-unit net income vs. $1.47 consensus; sees 2014 revenue of $305M-$340M vs. $362M consensus and $1.10-$1.30 net income vs. $1.57 consensus.

Declares Q4 dividend of $0.35/unit vs $0.55 in Q3, which NRP says will allow for debt reduction while preserving liquidity to pursue accretive acquisitions.
