Everybody out or comfortably short. Looks like it's time for a good old fashioned shorts whoppin'.

To User 7950501. Tell me more about short whoppin. Inquiring minds want to know.
They seem to be public enemy number one thriving on chaos, disinformation, and a
whole host of other negative attributes.

I don't think an increase of a few percent exemplifies a "surge". Definitely moving in the right direction, though.

SLW has now passed above its 50 day moving average, and the 50DMA is flattening out and gives indication it may now start to move upwards.
    Looks very promising.

I'm a little bit nervous about all of this .... but yes, it looks like gold is a better investment than paper dollars.

To thx1104. I have had at least a half dozen comments deleted by supposed
sensors over the last year at this blog. The people controlling this blog appear
to be under 40 with that kind of mentality; blindly handicaped not visible to
them. Anything they do not understand is gone; especially if it has a four
    letter word in it.

I have done my best to keep a sympathetic view of these apparent
handicapped people supposedly in control of this blog. After all, all
appearances are they are under 40. That is a handicap all by itself.
But they will not know it until they are at least 50.

Sorry, no obvious remedies to censoring at this blog. Other than
maybe tell the 40 and younger crowd to go talk to their parents
before they do any censoring to find out what reality is.

I would have like to see a cleaner double bottom before I jump in with a big position but gold never fails to surprise and we may have bottomed...gold is laughing in the face of more taper

KGC, with new management is a blooming bargian. They are setting up the company to be profitable at $1100 per 0z. If the price of gold increases KGC is an easy double.
Long KGC and increasing my holding

    @ JIMSK,
You are right. It is not a pretty picture for the P/Ms. KGC has a lot of good assets and if the price of gold increases and I think it will, they should do very well. I like KGC because the risk of this company going belly up are very slim.
