Rackspace names sales/support chief its president

Rackspace (RAX -1.1%) has promoted Taylor Rhodes, until now its sales/customer support chief, to the role of president. The company's last president, Lew Moorman, stepped down six months ago to spend more time with his family.

As president,  Rhodes will be responsible for the Web hosting/cloud infrastructure provider's worldwide operations. Rackspace also has a COO (Mark Roenigk) responsible for managing its tech infrastructure.
