- Lowe's (LOW) has invested an undisclosed amount in Porch.com, according to The New York Times.
- The company is also using the home improvement service review site to aid shoppers at stores in some states.
- Porch.com is considered by some in the industry as a cleaner review site than Angie's List (ANGI) or Yelp which are reportedly subject to widespread "gaming" and manipulation.
- The partnership between Lowe's and Porch.com is in its infancy, but both companies see upside potential for it to fill a void in the market.
