Honda draws praise at the Detroit Auto Show

The Honda Fit was a surprise winner with automobile industry analysts at the Detroit Auto Show.

Already a successful model in the sub-compact category, Honda (HMC -0.4%) addressed some of the common gripes about the car with the new model in a move that could draw in more buyers.

The engine jumps up to 130 horsepower without nicking the impressive 36 miles per gallon rating.

In addition, the back seat and cargo space are larger, while the tech features dazzle.
