Synaptics slips after announcing stock offering

Synaptics (SYNA -2.5%) is selling 1.96M shares on behalf of a slew of existing stockholders, including Qualcomm and Intel's VC arm. 6% of outstanding shares will be sold through the offering, which comes as shares trade close to their all-time high of $59.95. (S-3)

Synaptics' FQ2 results are due tomorrow.
