Audi wants to catch BMW

Audi (VLKAY) thinks it cut into BMW's premium car market share lead in 2014.

The automaker grew sales by 8% last year as the new A3 compact and SUV models saw strong second-half demand. It has plans to keep expanding its product range over the next six years.

If Audi is to eventually catch BMW, China could be the key.
