Moody's leaves France's rating at AA1

Moody's has affirmed France's credit rating at Aa1 and its outlook at negative, due to the continued deterioration of the competitiveness of the country's economy, which could further hurt its already weak finances.

“The government has introduced a number of measures here, but we see these policy initiatives as being complicated by persisting, long-standing rigidities in the labor, goods and services markets," Moody's Dietmar Hornung says. (PR)
