Bollywood film disappoints in opening

Eros International (EROS +0.3%) reports Jai Ho opened to a $16.3M global box office take. The mark fell short of estimates.

The Indian film was one of the most highly-anticipated of 2014.

Bollywood films have started to resonate in the U.S. Last month, Dhoom 3 became the first Indian film to earn over $1M on its opening day. Eros was hoping to see Jai Ho strike up a similar response stateside.

Mostly all Bollywood movies sucks except for maybe 4-5 a year which are decent. All the Khans are over 50 dancing around with 20 year girls looks soooo stupid on the screen. Better camera can't hide the wrinkles on there faces.

This stock will tank. Way over rated. 1 dollar is around 63 rupees so earning in dollar is not much for the year. Do not buy unless Eros starts distributing/financing more American movies.
