Having initially sold off due to its soft FQ1 guidance, Nvidia (NVDA +1%) has reversed course. The move comes in spite of a downgrade to Below Average from Caris, which is concerned about Nvidia's declining gross margin, partly the result of yield issues for 28nm chips. But Needham is staying bullish on expectations of strong Tegra adoption in smartphones, and eventually Windows 8 hardware. (transcript)
