Honda U.S. is a net exporter

• Honda (NYSE:HMC) says it built more vehicles in the U.S. to sell locally than it imported from Japan for the first time in its history last year.
• The automaker's production in the U.S. rose 7.4%.
• Cars built by Honda in the U.S. also ended up being sold in 50 different nations including Russia and several in the Middle East.
