Honda U.S. is a net exporter

Honda (HMC) says it built more vehicles in the U.S. to sell locally than it imported from Japan for the first time in its history last year.

The automaker's production in the U.S. rose 7.4%.

Cars built by Honda in the U.S. also ended up being sold in 50 different nations including Russia and several in the Middle East.
