Sure hope you're right, it can't even break $16 today. I know 2014 is not going to be as easy as 2013 was, but for crying out loud this stock was trading at $16.50 a week ago. If a $2.2B revenue beat can't push this up more than 1% then I have no idea what will. Astonishing.
Shouldn't have written those puts LOL!

Actually before the open, Ford shares ran up to almost $16.50 in pre-market trading - and then a huge sell-off happened in the profit-taking at the open Such is Ford's cannibalistic investors' strategy these days.

I think people see a bit of a slog in 2014 as Ford spends money on new product launches. No free pass on innovation in this grumpy market, so I folded my 16/16.50 call calendar with a small loss. But buyers could return if the market makes a comeback.

Yea, what gives? If F misses top or bottom lines it gets blasted. If it cuts guidance it gets blasted. If it beats it gets blasted. The street was expecting Mulally to start defecating gold bricks.
