More on Harley-Davidson's Q4

Harley-Davidson (HOG) says dealers sold 45,875 new Harley motorcycles during Q4, up 5.7% Y/Y. The growth rate in the U.S. was higher (6.3%) than the rate in international markets (4.7%).

Operating margin for the motorcycles segment rose 60 bps to 5.9% as operating expenses were trimmed.

The company sees shipping 279K-284K motorcycles to dealers and distributors in 2014 to mark a 7%-9% increase from last year's level.
