Colgate-Palmolive (CL) announces it grew global volume by 6.5% in Q4 as it kept pricing level.
The company saw organic sales rise 6.5% during the period (double P&G 's recent rate). Asia was on the high end with a 9% increase in organic sales.
Gross profit margin rate improved 50 bps to 58.9% as cost savings initiatives helped to offset an increase in raw and packaging materials.
Market share was picked up in the U.S. in key categories as several new product launches from Colgate-Palmolive went well.
