Northrop defrauded U.S. of $62M, former program head alleges

A former Northrop Grumman (NOC) official alleges the company defrauded the U.S. government of as much as $62M in 2007-08 as part of a failed contract for antimissile systems intended to be installed on airliners.

Filed by the former NOC official who once helped run the program, a lawsuit alleges the company intentionally inflated costs, presented false bills, lied about progress and withheld test data from the government.
