Forest Oil begins winding up vertically integrated drilling operations

Forest Oil (FST) discloses that it began the initial steps in winding up its vertically integrated drilling operations, transitioning to the exclusive use of third-party drilling rigs.

Part of the action includes a workforce reduction, which FST estimates will result in costs of $6.5M-$7.5M.
