    Melco will report very good 2013 earnings. Today's downturn Is due to the fact that January's Macau earnings were up "only" 7 % year over year. Last year China's New Years Celebration started Feb 10. This year they started Jan 31. Speculation in Macau notes that with the 2014 dates so close to January many punters delayed their January trip. Early reports from Macau indicate the 2014 New Years volume is high with no signs of a "slowdown" in site.....just a miss on some analyst understanding.

    I agree with you on that calendar quirk but still think MPEL is grossly over valued on account of too much risk and potential volatility with China's shrinking wealth effect.
    That quirk made me cover my short at 37 today but the ensuing rebound made me re-initiate it around 39.35
    Next meaningful support level is around 33-34 and then 26-27..
    I expect to trade this one on large swings but long term see it back to low 20's and perhaps below that should the EM crisis deepen from here.
