Costco's (COST) net sales grew 6% on year to $7.99B in January.

Comparable sales +4%, topping consensus of +3.3%. U.S. +5%, international +1%.

Excluding the negative effects of gasoline-price deflation and currency swings, comparable sales increased 6%; U.S. +5%, international +8%. (PR)

    I am very proud of my fellow Americans who braved the arctic cold so they can crowd into a Costco.
