Growth in payrolls seen accelerating sharply

U.S. employment data is due out shortly, with economists estimating that nonfarm payrolls increased by 180,000 in January after rising 74,000 in December.

The jobless rate is seen holding at a five-year low of 6.7%.

However, the freezing weather, the expiration of emergency unemployment aid and annual revisions could affect the figures, making them harder to forecast.
