Toy stocks in focus

Toy stocks could have an active day after Hasbro follows up Mattel's (MAT) weak Q4 report with an unimpressive quarter of its own.

Companies that sell physical toys such as Jakks Pacific (JAKK) and Build-A-Bear Workshop (BBW) have been hit harder than digital toy sellers like LeapFrog (LF) and Disney (DIS) through its Infinity gaming system.

I live in Brazil, and Mattel is doing a very strong effort on sales.
A lot of sell off in portfolio.
I think that can only reinforce my perception that this companie is unique in the sense they are very market oriented.
A companie like this is always well prepared for all circunstancies that is part of running a business like this.
If market situation become strong,I mean if consumer discritionary increases they will return to strong profits.
I have a girl and a boy under 6 and they are always trying to buy mattel products when we near a supermarket or especialized store.
Oh.Yes,they have cel phones games available and video games, and tablets too...
