NBC to dabble with live commercials

NBC (CMCSA) plans to test live commercials on its late-night television shows as a way to potentially satisfy Madison Avenue.

The Tonight Show with new host Jimmy Fallon could see some product placements worked into comedy bits.

Live commercials are a work-around for advertisers eager to get in front of TV viewers using DVRs or the ad-skipping Dish Hopper.
