- Brean's Todd Mitchell has upped his Arris (ARRS) PT to $32 from $26 ahead of the set-top/cable infrastructure provider's Feb. 19 Q4 report.
- Mitchell thinks Arris, which is in the midst of digesting Motorola Home, could beat 2014 EPS estimates thanks to faster-than-expected cost synergies from the Motorola deal.
- He also expects Arris to report Motorola's set-top unit returned to positive growth in Q4, and is optimistic about the company's ability to pay down debt and gain more fresh powder for making "accretive acquisitions of high value-add technology companies."
