NEE has been a steady incoming producer since the days of Florida Power & Light. Under the FPL name, the stock split two for one at least twice, perhaps three times over the years I've been involved in it. As NEE, it just keeps getting better. Stock Guru's tell me "You're too heavy in Utilities! Dump some of the NEE!" Then I show them the record since 1964 and they say "Oh...Um..." and change the subject. I doubt Florida is going to stop using electricity anytime soon, and the way NEE has spread-out, every part of the company seems to be on solid groound.

Funny, some "experts" tell me the same thing about NEE (1000 shrs and counting). I just smile and DRIP the dividends. When I get old (I'm 72 now) I'll probably take them directly, but I hate to break the streak!
