Apache president Plank steps down, Leon becomes CFO

In a batch of executive changes, Apache (APA) says President/COO Roger Plank is resigning after 32 years with the company.

Alfonso Leon, APA's chief of staff since 2012, will become CFO; he is credited with leading the company's planning, strategy and investor relations.

Tom Chambers, a 19-year company veteran, is named to the new role of senior VP for finance.
