Canon to spend up to ¥50B on buybacks

Canon (CAJ +4.2%) plans to spend up to ¥50B ($491M) to buy back shares between Feb. 19 and April 4.

The buybacks will be good for repurchasing 1.6% of the copier/printer vendor's outstanding shares.
