Warner Bros. gets its animated street cred back

Warner Bros. (TWX) continues to see the global box office haul for The Lego Movie defy expectations. It's spot-on timing for the studio with its reputation for building animated franchises being openly questioned.

The Lego movie is already over the $200M box office mark and there are still many major markets where the film hasn't debuted yet.

The production budget for the film is estimated at $60M.
