Nissan sets its sights on Bhutan


Nissan (NSANY) thinks the next market for its electric Leaf to make a splash in should be the small nation of Bhutan.

The automaker has a goal to see the government turn its fleet electric and incentive consumers to buy Leafs.

Not everyone is impressed with Nissan's initiative. Atlantic Investment Research's Edwin Merner points out the company picked the tiny nation as a publicity stun with EV sales lagging in many larger markets.
