Stock futures rise, existing home sales data due

Stocks rallied yesterday and are on track for a modestly higher open on this options expiration Friday, as signs of a potential end to the violence in Ukraine helped set a positive tone.; the S&P, Dow and Nasdaq are all +0.2%.

Wall Street's strength boosted sentiment in Europe, where the U.K.'s FTSE index nears all-time highs and France's CAC 40 posted a five-and-half-year high; Asian shares are mostly higher, with the Nikkei rallying nearly 3%.

Treasurys are modestly lower, with the yield on the benchmark 10-year note up 2 bps at 2.77%.
