That is correct but it is more the fault of the economy and the lack of Obama to give a shi+t.

Your right. Obama needs to be more concerned about Starbucks stock price.

Schultz has lost his focus.. Here in Vancouver most stores sell out of the most popular breakfast sandwich (sausage n egg) mid morning, WEEK after week!. Stores have the less popular breakfast sandwiches into late afternoon! I have walked out of one store and tried 2 or 3 other stores in late morning looking for a sausagen egg (and coffee) and had no success. Stores are close enough to do this. So the stores loose the sale on the sandwich and the coffee not just one time, but I don't even try anymore. And with the snow around everywhere how many people want cold juice? Macdonalds has an excuse to stop offering egg Mcmuffins at 12:00 but the Starbucks microwave version has no excuse! Schultz must be vacationing too much.

do you really conclude that the CEO of a multinational corp has "lost his focus" because your local store tends to run out of what appears to be a very popular breakfast sandwich by the time you get there. if you saw "extra" unsold sandwiches by the afternoon you would probably say he lost his focus too.

Only every so often do I short a stock and this one felt just right about time for T-day to arrive w/ joke Retail Sales expectations back in Nov. Last one I hated was AAPL a few years back. Just when it seems that everyone wants it is just when you don't and it's time to set the shorts. I'm not going to cover this puppy until Summer !
