Spoke to Mr. Cramer today on Mad Money on CNBC about the continued fall of Volaris(VLRS), staring late last year on top of latest earnings and revenue expectation miss.

His take was that he was wrong to recommend it last year since he was thinking that the Mexican airlines would move lock step with the US airline stocks. Unfortunately that proved to be wrong and VLRS is more of an emerging market play. Given the emerging markets have been terrible, VLRS is seeing a continued downtrend. Cramer still believes that VLRS is still a sound airline company to invest in.

I have no major red flags for VLRS at this point, given the 10% YOY revenue increase from 2012 to 2013 and the continued booked passenger increase.
I am just waiting for the emerging market downtrend to bottom out so that I can add to my long position in VLRS. The mistake I made in so far is the fact that I started building my long position with VLRS too early.
