Precious metals miners benefit as gold surges


Gold futures are surging in the wake of the crisis in Ukraine, and that's giving precious metals miners a big boost in early trading.

    Four months ago I read here and most everywhere else that gold would drop below $975 per ounce.

    Sad that it takes a scary crisis to send the metals up, but that's the way of the world, and shows that gold has not lost it's luster in terms of a safe heaven, in spite of the naysayers.
