T-Mobile USA (OTCQX:DTEGY) asks the FCC to block Verizon's (VZ -0.7%) plan to buy certain wireless spectrum assets from Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Time Warner Cable (TWC) and others, arguing that the sale poses "a clear threat to competition." Additional spectrum would give VZ the ability to raise download speeds for such high-data devices as laptops and smartphones.
