Weather whacks results at Bob Evans

Bob Evans (BOBE) says weather took a heavy toll on the company's traffic in FQ3 and into the February portion of FQ4.

Same-store sales fell 1.8% in FQ3 and February saw a 6.7% drop. The company went to the effort to break out Florida-only numbers with same-store sales growing 4.4% for the 47 restaurants in the Sunshine State.

The company has lowered guidance due to the slow sales pattern.

On the buyback front, Bob Evans is authorized to buy back $100M of its shares in FY15.
