    Regarding the factory strike, this is becoming really really common now, and is presenting a challenge for western management who are sourcing manufacturing there.

    Can't keep 'em down on the farm forever. I'm surprised it's taken as long as it has... Unions are needed in China (Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc.)...

     

    Global wage parity won't happen in my lifetime, but it will happen nonetheless.

    Actually, no.

     

    Too many localized variables impact local wages, therefore, Global wage parity will never happen.
